The first painting is titled...AT THE BLUE IGUANA, 11 X 14" a Juke Joint painting that SOLD on Ebay! (The artist is most well known for her Black Folk paintings...the juke joints, southern old time Baptisms, Dances, picking cotton, tent show, and old country store paintings). Black folk art is raw and colorful using lots of nostalgic images and themes.
Painting #2 is titled...THE JOYS OF COKE-COLA, 12 X 16 and was also SOLD on Ebay!
Painting #3 is a COMMISSION job. From time to time the artist takes on commission work, that is paintings that are commissioned by the customer or special made. This lovely painting...a 16 X 20 on canvas board is of a customer's home place, complete with customized details.
